SESVA analyses the DFES Concept Paper for Review of Emergency Services Acts
Members of the SES Volunteers Association met today (Thursday) to analyse the DFES Concept Paper for Review of Emergency Services Acts. In particular, attention was given to Chapter4 of the Concept Paper which covers proposed legislation in relation to Volunteer Brigades, Groups and Units; in particular, proposals to the State Emergency Service in Western Australia.
Early feedback from SES Volunteers was also considered. The SES Volunteers Association plans on producing briefing notes prior to a SESVA hosted SES Volunteer Briefing planned for Thursday 15 May at the Metro Motel, Canning Highway, South Perth. The Briefing is to allow the SESVA to explain the Concept Paper to Volunteers and gather feedback from the SES Volunteers.
