07/08/2025 – Northam SES Appoints new Local Manager

DFES and Northam State Emergency Service (SES) are pleased to announce the appointment of Lin Booth as the new Local Manager of the Northam SES Unit.

Lin brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served with SES for over 25 years in various operational and leadership positions.

As Local Manager, Lin will oversee local emergency response operations, volunteer coordination, training programs, and community engagement initiatives. The role is vital in ensuring that the Northam SES Unit continues to deliver professional and effective support during storms, floods, rescues, and other emergency incidents.

We’re pleased to have Lin stepping into this leadership role,” said District Officer Ash Smith “His experience and commitment make him a great fit to support and lead the Northam Unit moving forward.

The appointment reflects SES’s ongoing commitment to supporting strong leadership at the local level and fostering resilient, well-prepared communities.
