Mac Holt from Kalbarri SES Reports that Local storm damage and a 400km drive to a search deployment were the two operations this month. With half the units volunteers out of town and school holidays it was hard putting together teams – but we got there. A new expression has been taken up by new members after their first operational deployment – ‘I am no longer an SES virgin – Yeh!’.
