Mac Holt from Kalbarri SES reports its been an interesting month – community support at the Kalbarri Canoe and Cray Carnival, local training and members attendance at a regional Search Team Members course in Shark Bay, Unit support and ‘out-bush’ catering for a state-wide 5 day Vertical Rescue Team Leaders course and a rescue/recovery in the Kalbarri ‘washing-machine’ river mouth. Never boring – always challenging and interesting.
