SES Volunteer Awards 2023
The WA Fire and Emergency Services (WAFES) Awards acknowledge the outstanding achievements of our SES volunteers throughout Western Australia who have shown exceptional dedication to duty within the past 12 months.
These volunteers are shining examples of what it means to work and volunteer in emergency services.
Nominations for the 2023 WAFES Awards will open in late February 2023.

- SES Team Achievement Award
- Peter Keillor Award (SES Volunteer of the Year)
The 2023 WAFES Awards gala dinner will be held at Crown Perth on Saturday 9 September.

2023 WA Fire and Emergency Services (WAFES) Conference
The 2023 WAFES Conference will be held at Crown Perth on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September.
The conference allows volunteers and staff from across the State to come together to network and share ideas. A program of engaging content and experiences including tours, workshops, keynote speakers and presentations will enhance the knowledge and skills of all volunteers and staff who attend.
The conference will again be rounded out by the WAFES Awards gala dinner, where winners of the 2023 WAFES Awards will be announced.
