Mandurah SES Volunteer wins Youth Award
Every year the Peel Volunteer Resource Centre facilitates the Alcoa Peel Awards where they recognise significant contribution and commitment to the community through Volunteering in the region.
This year the Mandurah SES had three finalists including Bob Gray and Paul Gardner.
The winner of the Alcoa Peel Youth Award was SES Volunteer Andrew Seaman. Andrew started as an Emergency Service Cadet in 2018 and then migrated from the cadets into the SES.
Andrew has displayed a maturity beyond his years and been reliable, happy, dedicated and held in high regard by his peers.
As Andrew developed his skills in leadership it was observed that he works well in a team environment offering assistance where required.
The Mandurah SES Volunteers have found Andrew to be resilient, remains calm in times of pressure, quietly spoken, and is very determined to make a difference in the emergency services.
The Mandurah SES Volunteers recognise Andrew as a valuable member of their team and believe he will do very well in his chosen career, as a Police Officer.
