Margaret River SES
Saturday 26 November 2022 Margaret River SES responded to a challenging call out. They assisted St John Ambulance Margaret River to attend to an injured walker on a remote section of the Cape to Cape track.
Due to the difficult terrain and tricky 4WD track, they were grateful for the assistance of the RAC Rescue Helicopter 652.
A big thank you also to Wallcliffe Volunteer Fire and Rescue for doing the long walk in to be extra resources for extrication. Volunteer Margaret River Marine who were our Plan B!
Margaret River SES said, “As always, it is great to work alongside such dedicated emergency services volunteers in keeping our community safe”.
A timely reminder as the weather warms to be prepared when our exploring the beautiful region of Margaret River.
