From the President

Once again, a warm welcome to you all. Christmas is another month closer and creeping into most emergency services peak delivery season.

In short, for many of us its time to respond to community needs when in an emergency.
Many things from an SES perspective have transpired since we last wrote to you

Website Update

There’s a new feature on the SESVA website that shows activities of the SESVA and events that will be of interest to SES Volunteers.

If your Unit or region has an upcoming event that you want to promote, send the details to the SESVA Office sesva.office@ses-wa.asn.au

National Disaster Rescue Challenge

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) staged the 2022 National Disaster Rescue Challenge (NDRC) at Kings Park over the weekend 22-23 October. The event was a resounding success with a team from each Australian state and territory represented in what was a friendly and vibrant challenge.

SESVA out and about

The SESVA’s Greg Cook and Allen Gale attended the Kimberley Region Leaders Forum in Broome on Saturday 29 October. The SESVA was the only Association that attended to support the interests of the SES Volunteers at Broome, Derby and Kununurra.
