From the President

This is the time for wishing everyone the very best for the coming Christmas and New Year period.  All of us at your State Emergency Service Association hope that the very best happens in the way you wish for you. Most of us will enjoy happy times with family and friends but we do acknowledge in advance that some will be active in their role as an emergency service volunteer, helping others no matter what time of day or night.

How to Keep Informed

Don’t forget we have a website which keeps you informed of what is happening across the state in SES land.

We also have “the App”. (SESVA WA) and are on
Facebook.
And also, if you would like our newsletters, other relevant information etc forwarded direct to your email, just contact the SESVA office (sesva.office@seswa.asn.au), and advise your details.

Christmas Closure

Our office will be closed from 23rd December 2021 reopening
on 11th January 2022.

COVID-19 FAQ

The following is a reprint of an email sent by DFES to all Volunteers regarding COVID19 On 12 November 2021, the Chief Health Officer issued the Fire and Emergency Services Worker (Restrictions on Access) Directions under the Public Health Act 2016.

The directions specify COVID19 vaccination requirements for fire and emergency services (FES) workers – the definition of which includes volunteers – before they can access fire and emergency services sites.
