National Missing Persons Week 2020
Each year in Mandurah the Peel Zonta Club organise an annual memorial service for Missing Persons week. This year the service was held on 7 August and attended by a number of people, including Rhys Williams the Mayor of Mandurah, Hon David Templeman MLA, Minister for Local Government, Zak Kirkup MLA, and Robyn Clarke MLA.
The Police Service was represented by Senior Sargent Ian Francis and members from the Crime Squad. The SES were represented by Local Manager Chris Stickland ESM, Phillip Rance ESM and Gordon Hall ESM.
There were a number of speakers who acknowledged the great work and support the SES Volunteers give to the community and Police during disasters and in particular searches for lost or missing persons.
