It has been an issue for many years that there is no continuation training for Field Seatach Controllers – Search Commanders in modern speak.
DO Will Blackshaw has set up a MS Teams group for FSC to contribute feedback and info re the following:
- the new course content
- changes from the previous way of doing business
- suggest an annual virtual meeting be held to discuss issues and allow each region to conduct a debrief on a significant incident/s as a continued form of learning.
A Metro meeting has been scheduled for June 25.
We hope all FSC have been advised and that future refresher training will also be conducted.
