Touching base with community_ Scouts
The Gosnells SES Unit accepted an invitation from Liddlow Scout group in Thornlie for us to do show & tell about what we do.
So we showed how we do:
- operations for a search in the field;
- radio communications;
- a creeping line ahead search
- and build and use a larkin frame.
This was followed by a cup of tea and lots of questions.
All fun. Who knows, one day they may become SES Volunteers?
