Albany SES Assits Police Operations
Robert Boyes reports that over the Easter period Volunteers from the Albany SES Unit assisted police in a number of operations. One of the major operations was road blocks to check all traffic in and out of the district. There were approximately 5000 vehicles stopped in the region for breathalyzer and advice on driver fatigue. The Albany SES had approximately 15 members there for the duration.
