SESVA Workshop
Last weekend SESVA representatives from across the state met for a two day workshop and regular committee meeting. The idea of the workshop was to inform delegates about their roles and what is happening in the Volunteer Association space. The country delegates found it particularly informative, as no matter how many emails, news letters and teleconferences that have been distributed; the face to face interaction was very positive. On Sunday morning, the DFES Commissioner, Wayne Gregson, dropped in for a cup of coffee and to chat. He then had to race off to another DFES function, so thanks to the commissioner for the visit in amongst his busy schedule.
