SES Metro Exercise_ Exercise Prepare
Over the weekend of 12th & 13th November, ten Metro SES units were competing in Exercise Prepare at the DFES Training Academy at Forrestfield. There were six different stand scenarios that the teams aimed to complete within a timeframe of 50 minutes. DFES staff planned the activity with many SES Volunteers being the judges, stand co-ordinators, communications and role players.
District Officer Steve Summerton, said “This was a great opportunity for the SES unit teams and Volunteers, to participate in the exercise and contribute to what was a fun and challenging weekend.
Results were:
1st – Bayswater with trophy, presented by Assistant Commissioner Darren Klemm
2nd _ Swan
3rd – Gosnells
