Hi from Kalgoorlie
Following a trip to the Goldfields, I participated in a Kalgoorlie SES Unit Training night on Tuesday 10 May. The unit is fortunate to have their very own accredited First Aid Trainer as part of their team, so a night of First Aid basics enabled some great revision and learning with some great participant interactions. A couple of members were planning a WOW Day lunch, the following day,,,, dressed in orange.
The unit has just fitted HEMA 7 GPS’s to their vehicles. From my experience, these will be a great asset to the SES Volunteers in the remote areas surrounding Kalgoorlie. HEMA GPS’s have street maps and Topo maps insatlled as standard.
Thanks for Kalgoorlie SES Volunteers hospitality for the evening.
