Bunnings Great Aussie BBQ
The Bunnings Great Aussie BBQ was a great success and the fundraising figures for Saturday 23 January are very impressive. Although it was a hot and humid day and some units were operationally involved it was seen as a great day for both fund raising and engaging with the public on what SES Volunteers do. More than $470 000 was raised nationally for all emergency services that were involved.
In WA more than $83 000 was raised for WA Emergency Services.
Once the breakdown for WA Emergency Service Brigades, Groups and Units is received, the SESVA Treasurer John Capes will provide the detailed information to all SES Units involved. Please note that every cent raised for the SES Units, based on each store that an SES Unit was involved in, goes to that SES Unit.
