New Gosnells SES HQs Progressing
The Gosnells SES Unit and Bush Fire Service Volunteers are getting excited. After many years of talking and a couple of false starts, the commencement of a new purpose built headquarters started in late September 2015.  The unit’s current building was originally purpose built steel structure for SES operations and training in 1982, a few years after the formation of the unit. However the building soon became co-habitated when the City of Gosnells decided to centralise four rural based bush fire units. This has at times put a strain on operations, training, parking, security and relationships at times. Whilst the new building has some shared facilities, separate driveways with drive through garaging and parking is being provided.
