SES Volunteers Association of WA

One Association - Many Values

19/11/2015 – From the President – Volunteers

Emergency Services Volunteers

The SES Volunteers Association (SESVA) acknowledges the dangerous work that all Emergency Services personnel regularly undertake in this State. This includes SES Volunteers, Bush Fire Volunteers, Fire and Rescue Volunteers, Marine Rescue Volunteers and paid staff from government departments such as Police, DFES and DPAW.
All of these people leave their families and loved ones to put themselves in harms’ way to protect others and their assets.

Today in particular, the SESVA feels very much for those directly involved in the devastating bush fires raging in the southern region of Western Australia.  Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of the families, friends and loved ones affected by the disaster in the South of Western Australia.

The SES Volunteers Association humbly encourages everyone to pause for a minute and think of all those currently working hard to protect our community as well as those directly or indirectly affected by the emergency.
