07/04/2015 – Perth ANZAC Day Parade

PERTH CITY – ANZAC DAY PARADE 2015
2015 marks one hundred years since the dawn landing at Gallipoli during the First World War. DFES will once again be participating in the Perth City, Anzac Day Parade.
It is an honour for personnel to be a part of this significant national occasion to pay tribute to the men and women who have served, continue to serve our nation, and to the 102,000 Australians who have made the ultimate sacrifice in conflicts overseas.

An invitation is extended to all DFES Operational personnel, including retired members, volunteers and veterans, to participate as part of the contingent in the Perth City, ANZAC Day Parade. We welcome all those who may not have had the opportunity to participate in this event previously.
It is important that on the ANZAC Day Centenary, all DFES personnel who are eligible to march are given every opportunity and support to participate, and Trainee Firefighter School 77 will be marching with their instructors.

Many local governments run parades for ANZAC Day and dress requirements for DFES Operational staff and volunteers are to be determined through the relevant local government in consultation with DFES regional managers.
