Mac Holt reports that six people went from Kalbarri to the State Conference/Awards in Perth. We were honoured to be a finalist in the SES state team awards which congratulations to Karatha/Roeburn. Steve Cable (Manager Kalbarri SES) was awarded the Peter Keiller individual award – well deserved. Week night training concentrated on Storm Damage and Roof Safety Systems which was followed by a weekend Regional Storm & Water Damage course – 14 Volunteers participated as did other volunteers from Geraldton and Shark Bay.
