Title: SES Local Manager
Level: Volunteer
Location: Kalamunda State Emergency Service Unit
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified State Emergency Service volunteers wishing to be considered for the above local unit management vacancy.
Role Description:
The role of the Local Manager is to manage the SES Unit within the DFES-SES Roles and Functions, and is responsible for the operations, preparedness and administration of the SES Unit.
The successful applicant will be required to have the following skills/attributes.

- Management skills
- Experience managing operations
DesirableGood knowledge of DFES-SES and its Role and Functions and its Policies
- Knowledge of managing a volunteer organisation
- Ability to complete SES / Unit Management Training
- Capacity to obtain formal emergency management qualifications
Commencement Date: ASAP
Cessation Date: Up to three years from date of appointment
