Missing Boy Found UPDATE
Update on lost boy at Clackline
The SES Field Search Controller was appointed at 8.45 pm on Sunday night and the search began. Units deployed included Northam, Swan, Mundaring and York (VES). The search dog Jemma, with owner Leonie Briggs, had also been deployed. The hero of the day being Jemma who found the boy, and his puppy, alive and well in the early hours of Monday morning.
Another job well done by the SES Volunteers and the search dog.

A four year old boy who went missing from his home yesterday was later found in a vacant house with the family dog by his side. The boy wandered off from his home in Clackline, 80km northeast of Perth, about 5.30pm. He was only wearing a nappy and was found to be missing from his bed by his parents.
His parents then realised the family dog was also missing. The boy had apparently wandered off unnoticed from the house. Police coordinated a search for the boy with the assistance of SES Volunteers (Units and numbers not known at this time), SES Search Dogs and community members.
The young boy was eventually found asleep on a lounge chair in a vacant house on Great Eastern Highway, about 800m from the family home, around 12.30am. The family dog was by the boy’s side. Both the boy and the dog are safe and well and are now back at home.
