SESVA Calls for Expressions of Interest
The SESVA is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) for an experienced SES Volunteer to represent the SESVA as part of the Mobile Data Terminals (MDT) Reference Group.
DFES has begun investigation into the benefits offered to emergency responders by advanced Mobile Data Terminals. The MDT’s have the capability to offer responders access to incident related information in real-time, along with access to a range of other benefits such as dispatch messaging and Vehicle Location services. The SESVA, as a key stakeholder, has today been invited to be a part of the MDT User Reference Group. Further to this, DFES will be conducting a workshop on 27 February (Cockburn 9am – 1230pm) with the objective being to provide an opportunity for all operational arms of DFES and partnering associations to table their specific requirements for an MDT solution, which will then be considered as part of the final MDT solution.
Expressions of Interest
SES Volunteers are invited to email a written EOI stating your experience and relevant background (no more than two pages) to be a part of the above Reference Group to firstname.lastname@example.org. Closing date is Sunday 23 February. The successful applicant will be expected to represent the SESVA at the above workshop and other meetings as well as reporting on progress to the SESVA on a monthly basis.
If you would like to discuss further, please call the SESVA President on 0427 002702
