Post Conference News Update
On behalf of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services we would like to thank you once more for your contribution to the success of the third WA Fire and Emergency Services Conference. Thank you to the 47 speakers that presented their work, to nearly 600 delegates from all over Western Australia who attended the sessions, to the exhibitors and, last but definitely not least, a big thank you to the volunteer event assistants that helped throughout the event with enthusiasm. The Conference would not have been the same without each one of you.
We are happy to inform you that in the next few weeks on the Conference website you will find the slides of the presentations in pdf format, the link to a webpage with a selection of the pictures of the Conference, and the video recordings of the opening ceremony, the three plenary sessions, a selection of presentations and the closing ceremony.
Travel Reimbursement Claims
Delegates who incurred any additional costs related to the Conference such as accommodation, meals, mileage, taxi or public transport to and from airport and the venue, and parking fees, DFES will reimburse you for eligible costs subject to the presentation of the relevant receipt/s.
To claim eligible expenses please download and complete the Claim Form and ensure you attach relevant receipt/s and seek approval from your District Manager before mailing to DFES. Please note that the processing of forms can take up to four weeks.
