Update re Bridgetown Land Search (as at 4:00pm 05/05/13)
The search for Mr COUGHLAN is continuing
- Police from Bridgetown and Nannup are involved in the search.
- 25 State Emergency Service volunteers are involved in the search. They are from the Manjimup, Bridgetown, Margaret River, Bunbury , Busselton and Donnybrook SES units.
- The search will continue for as long as it can tonight, and is expected to continue tomorrow morning if needed.

Bridgetown Police are seeking information regarding missing 64 year old man Wayne Cornelius COUGHLAN, who was last seen in the Bridgetown area. Mr COUGHLAN was reported missing to police about 8:15pm last night, Saturday 4 May 2013, after a friend visited his Bridgetown residence and could not find him. Inquiries made
suggest there was a possible sighting of him in Bridgetown on Thursday 2 May 2013, however this has not been confirmed and officers would like to speak to anyone who has seen Mr COUGHLAN in the last week. Mr COUGHLAN is described as being fair skinned, approximately 170cm tall, of slim build, and has short grey hair, but usually wears a wide brimmed hat. It is believed he will most likely have his two dogs with him, a Jack Russell Terrier and a Silky Terrier.
Concerns are held for Mr COUGHLAN’s safety and welfare as his friends and police have not been able to make contact with him. A police land search operation continues today in Bridgetown with State Emergency Service volunteers assisting with the search of walking tracks in the area. Anyone who sees Mr COUGHLAN is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
