2013 FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES AWARDS NOMINATIONS OPEN
Now is the time to acknowledge the hard work of your fellow fire and emergency services personnel as nominations are open for the 2013 awards. I am continually impressed by the level of dedication and commitment shown by volunteers and personnel across the State, and these awards are a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our people.
The Firefighting, State Emergency Service, Volunteer Marine Rescue Services and Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services Awards honour the remarkable achievements of individuals, groups, units or brigades who have gone beyond the call of duty.
If you know of a worthy candidate for the 2013 awards, I encourage you to take the time to submit a nomination to ensure they are recognised for their outstanding contribution and valuable work.

The closing date for nominations is 5pm on Friday 31 May 2013, except for the VMRS Awards which close at 5pm on Monday 12 August 2013.
The awards will be presented at ceremonies to be held during the WA Fire and Emergency Services Conference at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on the weekend of Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2013.
