THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SINGLE EMERGENCY SERVICES ACT BRIEFING FOR STATE EMERGENCY SERVICE VOLUNTEERS
To assist the State Emergency Service Volunteers to be well informed on the current act and provide the State Emergency Service Volunteers with a venue to provide feedback on what they would like, and not like, in a consolidated emergency services act, the Volunteers Association is conducting a briefing session as below.
Your Unit is invited send up to three members to attend the briefing. This change in legislation has the potential to dramatically change the current mode of operation and culture of the SES Units.
Your attendance in understanding what may happen will prepare you with underpinning knowledge for when DFES conducts their road show.
