Bunbury State Emergency Service (SES) turns 50 this week (22/11/12) and the following celebrations will occur:
1) His Worship the Mayor, David Smith, will host a Civic Reception at Council on the actual day – 22nd @ 6pm.
2) The SES Annual Presentation Dinner will be expanded to also celebrate the 50 year milestone and that will be held on Saturday the 24th of November at the Parade Hotel.
In addition to many past/retired & current SES members, we will be joined on Saturday night by the Honourable John Castrilli MLA, the Honourable Nola Marino MP, the Honourable Adele Farina MLC, the Commissioner for Fire and Emergency Services, Wayne Gregson and his Deputy.
SESVA President David Price said on behalf of the Committee members and members I would like to congratulate the past and current members of the Bunbury SES on reaching this remarkable milestone. David went on to say, the community of Bunbury is fortunate to have an a SES Unit that has for 50 years provided support to the community 24 hours a day , seven days a week.
