An 85-year-old man who spent the night in a national park near The Pinnacles after he failed to board a tourist bus has been found by SES Volunteers.
A search for the man commemced last night, which included the police helicopter, failed to locate him after he went missing in the Nambung National Park, 240km north of Perth, earlier in the evening.
The search recommenced this morning at dawn and State Emergency Services volunteers on their way to The Pinnacles found the man somewhere between Indian Ocean Drive and Brand Highway about 7.30am. The man was cold, tired and hungry, but otherwise unhurt and was treated by St John Ambulance paramedics at the scene.
At this time the SESVA is unaware of the number of SES Volunteers involed in the operation and which Units they were from.
