Mac Holt reports that last month has been full on again at Kalbarri SES . Three operational call outs, including a 3 day deployment. Training and scenarios in search, rescue, communications and a weekend training/community support bush trip to the Zuytdorp ship wreck site. On one UHF radio training session we achieved our longest distance link of nearly 1,000km, to Harvey SES south of Perth, who queried which ‘unknown station’ was also on their emergency UHF channel 1.
