18/09/2011 – SES responds to calls for assistance

85 SES volunteers from 13 units have responded to 68 calls for assistance across the metro area making temporary repairs to properties.  Houses were flooded, trees fell on roofs and air conditioners torn away in the wind as wild weather hit Perth on Sunday.  SES says it answered 68 calls for help after a strong cold front passed through several suburbs.  Mandurah was the worst affected, with wind and rain severely damaging some homes and 13 call-outs made to the SES. Trees fell on several houses in the suburbs of Camillo, Maddington and Westfield and Waikiki.
