14/06/2010 – Pilbara Regional Exercise “Operation Iron Clad”

Keith Squibb SESVA Regional Committee Member reports that the Pilbara Region held its annual exercise on the Foundation Day long weekend in June 2010.  It was held in Marble Bar and called “Operation Iron Clad” after the controversial local icon. Marble Bar was chosen as it is centrally located within the Region and allowed for maximum participation of all Units.  The exercise  was well supported with members attending from Tom Price, Newman, Karratha, Hedland, Roebourne Districts and the VES Unit in Marble Bar.

A full report and more pictures will be included in the next SESVA Journal out soon.
