DFES SAP 6.01.H has been fully reviewed and updated and as a consequence of this update, a handbook has been developed to provide support and guidance to new, existing, and future volunteers and staff delivering essential training within DFES.
What’s new
SAP 6.01.H has been renamed to Presenters, Trainers and Assessors (formerly Trainer Assessor Endorsement) and has been amalgamated with the following SAPs:
- SAP 01.J – Trainer Assessor Professional Development
- SAP 01.O – Direct Supervision.
The new Presenters, Trainers and Assessors Handbook (the Handbook) complements SAP 6.01.H, offering role-specific information, clear expectations, and helpful insights into endorsement processes and ongoing responsibilities
Designed as a digital resource, the Handbook is available through eAcademy and the Training Toolbox. This format ensures the content remains current and responsive to updates, providing consistent access to the latest information.
What do I need
All volunteers involved in presenting, training and assessing are encouraged to review the Handbook and associated resources in the Training Toolbox.
