NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN FOR AUSTRALIAN HONOURS
Nominations are being sought for the following Australian Honours Meritorious Service Awards:
• Australian Fire Service Medal (AFSM)
• Emergency Services Medal (ESM)
• Australian Bravery Decorations.
I encourage all DFES personnel and volunteers to think about the people around them and nominate eligible individuals who have gone above and beyond and have recent frontline or operational service.
Nominations for the above Australian Honours can be submitted online.
Please take this opportunity to nominate someone who deserves recognition at the highest level.
Nominations must be submitted by Monday 15 April 2024 for consideration in the Australia Day 2025 Honours list or the March 2025 Bravery list. Any nominations received after this date will be considered for future lists.
