From the President

Hello to you all once again. The past month has been one of respect, reflection, and planning. Our various regions have seen time to reflect and worship. Our Nation through ANZAC Day has had the opportunity to pay its respects to those that have fought in past conflicts to maintain our collective freedom. Now May is with us and it’s a time for action.

SESVA Regional Consultation

The SES Volunteers Association, on behalf of WA SES Units, is formulating a response to the Governments pro- posed consolidation of Emergency Services legislation.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to secure the future of SES Units and the communities they serve for the long term

Chris Widmer ESM 45 Years

Bunbury SES Local Manager, Chris Widmer ESM, has amassed a whopping 45years of service to the Bunbury State Emergency Service. Chris served as SESVA’s Management Committee representing Southwest Region for several years.

Upper Great Southern Regional Exercise

Pingelly was a sea of orange Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April as SES volunteers descended upon the town to participate in various skills stands around the town at the 2023 SESVA Upper Great Southern Regional Exercise hosted again by Pingelly SES.
