Mandurah SES

Last month the Mandurah State Emergency Service unit discovered that their 12 Volt submersible pump was no longer working. This was used for pumping out flooded car parks and other areas.

It was taken to Pumps’N’Pipes for a service and inspection.

On inspection it was found too no longer be serviceable.

The Manager offered another solution for the SES unit at half the price.

This replacement, a Fire Fighting pump, which has its own in-built ICE motor, instead of a 12-volt motor, was determined to be a better fit for purpose than the 12 volt unit The old pump required a vehicle to power it.

The Fire Fighting pump will pump 800 litres per minute, whereas the other pump 600 litres per minute.

The picture shows the supplier presenting the new pumps, one purchased by the unit and the other 2 donated by Orange Pumps, to the Mandurah SES.

Fantastic support from a Local Business.
