Volunteers from Albany Volunteer State Emergency Service, State Emergency Service Esperance. and Gnowangerup Volunteer State Emergency Service Unit Inc. participated in the Operations Centre Team Member course this weekend.
Two days packed full of learning, revision and a whole bunch of team work.
Multiple topics were covered to include how to set up an Ops Ctr, completing operational forms, collecting information, creating visual display boards, and managing teams on the ground assisting the public.
A simulated storm exercise finished off the second days training, and needless to say our volunteers managed the operation with success!
