Dear Mr Cook

WEAR ORANGE WEDNESDAY (WOW) DAY 2021

I am writing to you following discussions with DFES Media and Corporate Communications Directorate regarding this year’s WOW day celebrations.

Over the past 12 months State Emergency Service Volunteers have assisted at countless incidents across the State including significant floods, storms and bushfires.  I thank each and every volunteer for their professionalism and commitment to assisting the community over what was incredibly unique period of time in the history of the SES in Western Australia.

These efforts will be celebrated by DFES in the lead up to, and on WOW Day on the 19 May 2021 including the lighting up of buildings across the State, proactive media opportunities and stakeholder communications.
