It is with a heavy heart, that we advise SES Volunteers that Gordon Munday, highly respected and long-term SES Volunteer, passed away after a short illness, on December 23, 2019.

Gordon was a passionate SES Volunteer with more than 25 years’ service.

As an SES Volunteer, Gordon was a Local manager of the Bassendean SES Unit and a past SESVA Committee member.

Gordon has always been held in high regard and well respected by SES Volunteers and those he served in the emergency services sector.

He coached and mentored many SES Volunteers and he will be sadly missed by us all, both as an SES Volunteer, coach, mentor and a good friend.

A notice announcing the time, date and place of a celebration of Gordon’s life will be posted when details are known.

SESVA President Greg Cook and Committee Members

Thank you for your service”
