Presidents Newsletter – September 2017
In the September newsletter the President mentions the busy past couple of months including AFAC17 and the very successful WAFES 2017 conference and SES awards night.
Gordon also outlines an alliance and talks on a future structure for DFES encompassing a separation of the services with the State Emergency Service being an integral part of the new structure.
Other subjects include a new part to the FES Act for emergency service Volunteers, an update on the National Disaster Rescue Challenge 2017, emergency beacons on SES vehicles now complying with the law and communication to SES units.
