WOW Day 2017
Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW Day) is fast approaching, with celebrations taking place across the country on 10 May 2017.  Coinciding with National Volunteer Week, WOW Day is an opportunity to showcase to your colleagues and friends the unique service you provide to the WA community. So wear your orange colours proudly, wherever you may be that day.  DFES and the SESVA have partnered and in the Metropolitan area you are invited to a barbecue as a thank you for your hard work and dedication to the WA community.
Venue:       Belmont SES Training facility, 314A Kew Street, Cloverdale
Time:         7pm to 9pm
Attire:        Please wear something orange
Parking:    Ample parking available

A number of other activities will also be taking place throughout the day. An information and recruitment stall will be held at Curtin University, the Eliza statue in the Swan River in Nedlands will be proudly donning an SES uniform, and at 6pm prominent Perth landmarks including Elizabeth Quay, the Perth Concert Hall and Council House will be lit up in brilliant orange.   Across the regions, there will be SES Volunteer stories pitched to local media to highlight the work of the SES.
