Directions to Shindig
Due to construction works on Tonkin and leach Highways this weekend, gaining access to Belmont SES Unit for the Shindig may pose a problem for some. According to the main Roads web site, closures will commence at 7pm Friday Night, so those arriving for 6pm should not have a problem until leaving for home. Those SES Volunteers and partners arriving late may have to choose coming the north side of Abernethy Road, carry on as local traffic past Gabriel St as local traffic and then turn right into Kew St for SES Unit. Parking will be on Robinson Park reserve nearby.
