The SESVA has sent an email today to all SES Units on the below subject.
It is very important that SES Units have an understanding of ACNC, the Commissions role and the law. The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission will be running a series of “Ask ACNC sessions” in Western Australia on the following dates:
- Perth 18 August 2014
- Albany 19 August 2014
- Bunbury 20 August 2014
The sessions start at 10:00am for a duration of 1 hour, but ACNC representatives will be present from 8.00am to midday to answer any questions Units may have concerning their requirements. This is a great opportunity for volunteers to meet face to face with the ACNC and raise their concerns.
