Mac Holt reports that Kalbarri SES had no call outs in March. We ran a two day NURE course for local and regional SES units. At this course two more Kalbarri SES members achieved their trainers qualification in NURE. Other training sessions included 4WD techniques/recovery in soft sand and flood boat work / trialing the new shallow water rescue boat in the Murchison river. The new Zodiac boat funded by grants and local fundraising has been delivered and shown off to the local community. The new shed project is also progressing and will soon be assembled by unit volunteer members.
