It has been operating for 12 months, so yesterday, Saturday 8 December 2012, was a one year celebration of the facility and the official opening of the Swan Emergency Facility. This is the new home for the City of Swan SES Unit and Swan Bush Fire Communications Unit. A number of SESVA committee members attended the function including President David Price, Secretary Gordon Hall, Phillip Petersen and Deb Hutchinson.
SESVA President David Price said” this is great facility and will provide assistance to the community for both natural disasaters and bushfires”.
