A full scale search for a four-year-old girl missing in an area about 400 kilometres north-east of Perth commenced Saturday afternoon. Police say the girl wandered away from a campsite about 90 kilometres north of Mukinbudin in the morning. Specialist SES searches teams from the metropolitan area were last night scrambled to assist with the search for a lost 4 year old girl. Their task will be to assist local SES Volunteers. Initially Police, local SES volunteers, campers and local farmers searched the area, aided by police dogs and aircraft. Bad light called a halt to the search last night, but police say crews remained onsite overnight and will continue looking for the child. Police say they are very concerned for the girl’s safety. Rescuers will also be searching for a 35-year-old woman who was reported as missing overnight after she went looking for the girl.
