Congratulations to Glenys and her dog Manhon from Albany Unit who have been successfully assessed as a tracking dog team. On Thursday the 11th of August Glenys and Manhon gathered with the two assessors, Ian, training coordinator for the Canine Unit and Justin from WAPOL dog squad. Will came to represent management. The track layers were in position at the end of the tracks that had been walked the day before. Glenys and Manhon accredited themselves very well despite having to play leap frog with a rubbish truck on one of the tracks. Several years and countless hours of training have culminated in one more team to help find missing or injured persons.
