Gingin Police are seeking information from the public in relation to a tent pitched in a lay-by on Brand Highway, approximately 10kms south of Regan’s Ford. The tent was first noticed on Monday 2 May and a hiking track is nearby. The two-man dome tent is light grey with green trim. The tent contains various items of bedding, men’s clothing and food. Police are trying to establish the identity or whereabouts of the occupant, to ensure they are safe.

SES Volunteers have been called to assist with a search of the area around the tents. SES assets sent to the scene include four quad bikes and two area search dogs and were on site with a Search Controller at 0730 this morning along with Gingin Police.
