SES Volunteers in a QANTAS aircraft have found the missing teen sailor Abby Sunderland who was missing in the Indian Ocean thousands of kilometres west of Australia. The Qantas airbus sent from Perth early today has had radio contact with 16-year-old Miss Sunderland on board her stricken vessel Wild Eyes. A Qantas spokesman said the airbus arrived over the search area about 2pm and spotted Miss Sunderland’s yacht shortly afterwards. She will be rescued by fishing boat within 24 hours, rescue authorities said.
